I wanted the same thing OP when i was in my 20's and early 30's.
Met the person I wanted to marry and for us to live on one income we would have had to stay in a not so nice neighborhood. So we moved and we both work but we both do shift work to be with our kid more.

Point being, you can want it all you want but sometimes life just happens and it changes your plan you thought you had.

Some engineers make good husbands; some don't. Mine didn't want me to be a sahm, but then agreed that it made sense after having two kids and both of us trying to juggle all the time off for kids, etc..

You or the man may end up changing your minds, so I wouldn't 100% bank on anything.

That said, just marry a man who is caring, supportive, can cook, clean -- and don't mind doing it, and not afraid of hard work. Everything else will work itself out.
