Wow. He was naked in a locker room. This man's life is likely ruined. He should have just been released.
Right. Unless the "victims" were girls, I don't see how this is even an open/shut case.

Anyway, indecent exposure are misdemeanors. We tried not to keep many in for misdemeanors. If there is a way, according to checking with references, etc. to keep him away from the victims, the school, and other places where the same types of crimes could happen again, then he's a good candidate for release/small bond.
I didn't think anyone gave bond for misdemeanor marijuana arrests anymore. Wow.
Fairfax county does.

I used to work in Pretrial a million years ago. I made recommendations to the court as to whether people should be held or released, and if they were to be held on bond, I recommended an amount. The 2 most important factors are whether the defendant is likely to show up to court, and whether they present a danger if released. We used an old rating system called the Vera-Point system, that assigned points for community and family stability and ties. Bail is different from bond. Bond you pay and don't get back, it's typically 10% of the bail.
