We are in the same boat but went with Communikids for the summer. WIS just posted something abt Steve and Kates camp but I thought they were having an immersion camp. Confusing. Next year I am going for Lowell -- swimming and Spanish immersion! Perfect.

Anyone have views on pros and cons to consider regarding Communikids and WIS? If it matters: she will be a rising K student but almost 6 (October bday), is pretty shy and prefers calm, structured settings, and really likes singing Spanish songs. And this would be starting mid or late summer. Thanks in advance for feedback/insights!

I would not suggest WIS (and my kids attend WIS ) here is why: most kids attending camps are existing students already in the Immersion and "outside kids" get lost in it. Communikds is the opposite-more daycare setting-didn't love it when I visited.

I'm looking at both of these schools as well. My son is already fluent in Spanish, so do you think WIS is a better fit? Not sure if you mean "outside kids" are kids that don't speak the language or just in general?

Interesting. Would even the rising K campers already be in the program?
