I have to be able to live my life, and I am not going to make it so I can’t socialize, go out to dinner, eat with my husband etc. by doing something THAT restrictive. I want another kid, but this is a marathon, not a sprint, and to make myself that much even more miserable? I do want to try eliminating gluten and dairy though. But that AIP Paleo basically leaves nothing you can actually eat
Ah....I didn't have any kids when I went on it. The thought of not ever being a mother is pretty awesome motivation. That said--I did socialize while on it and my friends were awesome! Everyone was super supportive and helped me find ways to go out. In fact, when I started adding foodstuff back in but was still dairy and gluten free, the items I would bring to parties would be totally gone and complimented. But yes, if I had had a child and we're already a parent, I probably would not have done it. Now that I have my IVF science miracle, I will probably go gluten and dairy free a few months before my next FET.
