There was a flood of slots at lamb last year? I do remember Mundo verde going into the 200s on their waitlist, but nothing nowhere near that happened at LAMB (unfortunately).


LAMB added a primary class after the MSDC deadline (they hold their own lottery), so went to then 50-60s on their PK3 list. List schools in your true preference order.

The 50 doesn't reflect waitlist. It reflects draw order. In the last two years those who got in still got a "number". So say 1-20 got in. 20-50 got in off WL after the extra class added. Also, don't be defensive. It's a lovely school.


Agreed. LAMB PK-3 "waitlist" numbers went beyond 50 last 2 years. Don't be so crabby.

so do all these families have a younger child too? - question is pk3 spots. or are you referring to pk-4 and up?

MV just started re-enrollment a week or two ago. I don't think there are going to be that many non-sibling spots. I know of only one family leaving so far although there might be more who knows. The family I know is moving out of state and have rising fourth graders.

They went to the upper teens on their PK4 WL this year after making 0 seats lottery available (if not beyond, so nothing is impossible).
No school is perfect for each family.

Charters should have some idea. I would love to know if CMI can estimate the number of seats available for PK4. I am assuming its less than 5.

Ross is primarily inbound siblings for PK3 at this point. Typically many inbound preference kids don't get slots for Pk3.

It would help to know where you are looking but assuming you do not have preference (i.e. IB, sibling) from the open houses I've attended very few slots open at Mundo Verde and Ross. It sounds like CMI and ITS expect to have approx. 20 slots each for PK3.

What have schools with PK3 said about how many slots they think they will have left for non-siblings? I'm trying to figure out our list and we have a few contenders over the 12 we can rank. I don't waste a space on the list if we don't have a chance of getting in when we might have a better chance getting into another one of the schools we're considering. Thanks!
