For my 7 yo DS anything active has been a hit: ZavaZoone, Flight, gymnastics/tumbling at Barcroft, soccer party have all been successes.

We declined a party with a magician (a little girl) and we had a conflict and could not go to a skating party (although I imagine that would have been successful too.)

Phone around. Some places let you have a lot of kids, like Jumping Joeys.

Bowling seems to be a popular choice, we've been to 3 of those this year, my kid is so-so on it.

We did our 7yo BD party at Rebounderz. Huge hit.

The indoor mini golf is kinda boring. I want to like it because of the cool colors and moving objects but, it's kinda boring. The earth trek if challenging and different but doesn't that involve kids waiting and waiting until it's your turn again?

Bowling, swimming (but not all kids swim and I'd want a parent along for safety), pump it up, trampoline place (not a huge fan as we have been and each time someone has gotten hurt), climb zone (but its a madhouse), monster golf

My 7yo went to one recently at Shadowland and really liked it. He has requested to have his 8th bday there.

Bowling, with coin available for the pin ball/arcade games.

EarthTreks could be fun. The parties are small so kids can have more time to climb.

Laser tag or trampoline park were the only 2 party locations my son was invited to last year (10+ parties) in first grade.

I am in need of ideas for a 7 year old boy's birthday party next month. He likes many different things and wants to invite more kids than I would prefer. So, I'm thinking of just 10 but he's thinking of 20 cause it seems he plays with a lot of other kids at school and wants to invite them but I don't even know their parents. Every time I think if kids parties, I think of the need to move around. Need ideas! Thank you.
