the worst birth month, for Christians, would be December, of course! Mine is right before Christmas, as a kid I had exams on my birthday, and then would get the combined birthday and Christmas present. One year I got a plastic Christmas tree for my birthday.

As an adult, I am scrambling around like a maniac on my birthday desperate to get ready for Christmas, and my DH wants to take me out to dinner (sweet, but yikes I need that time) and my friends all want to take me to brunch (one a day, it seems--they love it because for them it's a break in the madness, but for me, it's serial brunches/lunches and I need to shop/wrap!) I know, it's a total first-world problem to have, but it doesn't make it easier to navigate.

I think the worst names are when parents intentionally spell a well-known name just to be differerent. It sets the kid up for a lifetime of spelling corrections. We have friends that chose to name their dd "Nathalie." There is not a French bone in their body. It's not a name of a relative or a character in a book they liked. Just liked the name "Natalie" and wanted to be different by throwing in the "h". Mom even joked, "She'll be doomed to a lifetime of correcting others. Tee hee!".

I know someone whose first name is Stalin. February is the worst month to be born in.

I think Richard is the worst name. March is a depressing month to me, so I would not want to be born then. Although maybe having a birthday in March would spruce up the month, so I don't know.

I delayed TTC to avoid giving birth during those months,

I think Adolph might be the worst name to have, although I feel very bad for my son's friend Osama. He's a good sport though and goes by the nickname Obama which I think is great!

I don't think there's a bad month to be born -- maybe December because it gets overshadowed by Christmas?
