All-inclusive, for sure. We love Couples San Souci in Jamaica and Sandals in St. Lucia!

Without kids, I would do a resort over a cruise. More relaxing. I would personally go to either Turks & Caicos (so many great options, just avoid the kid friendly ones) or Anguilla (Cap Juluca) or St. John.
I wouldn't worry too much about it being all inclusive. I don't feel like they actually save you any money.
