I always fly Easyjet over Ryanair. The latter is just horrible, always trying to rip you off on fees.

Done it before when he was younger, and would rather do that than bed train him. We'll check and see if every place we're staying has a crib, but if not, it's coming and I expect it to be as much of a minor issue as it was when we went last year.

I know! I think you're actually referring to Vasteras, not Arlanda. I flew into Vasteras a few years ago (pre-child) -- it was a looooong bus ride (through gorgeous Swedish countryside, which made it less painful) into Stockholm.

All other factors aside, I think this is going to be the decision maker for us. The airport Ryanair uses for Paris is a bit of a trek, as I recall, and I think EasyJet flies out of Charles de Gaulle.

Easy jet is marginally better. Ryanair is famous for having completely horrible staff and they will charge you extra for every single thing. Also be sure to check where the airports are in relation to the cities you're going to - one way they cut costs is by using random airports which are far away requiring expensive taxis to get to them or the use of special Ryanair buses which may go at inconvenient times. Flown on both many times with young kids when we lived abroad. Ryanair tends to be on time more often though the seats are a bit cramped. We had many delays with Easyjet due to broken toilets, etc. but the seats are a bit more comfortable. Overall, both were generally fine. With a 2 year old you should be fine in terms of space. We always flew on school holidays, so there were plenty of other kids on the flights. Presumably you're on a short haul flight? If so, it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck!
