OP here. So glad to hear you have had such a great experience and your DC is doing so well! What has been amazing about it? The way the class is structured? The teacher? The supports? Or all of it? Im so glad to be hearing such positive feedback from you all.

We were at Ashburton in PEP Classic (five days a week, kids with various issues and were happy). 3 yr olds go in the am, 4s in the pm. PEP follows its own calendar, shorter than MCPS.

3 yr olds only go two days and 4 yr olds go 5 days, right?

Pep equivalent in nova is also awesome.

As the PP said, PEP is the best of the special ed programs in Montgomery County (except maybe the CAPP program).
You will never be as happy with special ed services as you are with PEP.

PEP placement is based on your home school which of course is based on your home address. Where you buy/rent and the placement your child receives will determine what locations are available to you. Not all PEP programs are available at all PEP locations. They will provide transportation to the closest PEP location that has the placement you require.

My son thrived in Pep Collab at Viers Mill. He was lucky enough to spend 2 years in that program with the same teachers.

Oh okay. I don't know yet which school DS would attend. Planning our move now to Mont Co so, don't have an exact location yet. But do have an IEP already to bring to them.

Hi, Im looking for people to share their experiences with PEP (in Montgomery county) with me. Specifically the 5 day/week class option for pre-k age kids. Have you been happy with it? Anything you can share to give me an idea or some feedback would be great. Might be doing it in September so Im looking to hear of other peoples experiences. Thanks!
