You get 6% back on groceries up to $6,000 per year, 3% back on gas and 1% back on everything else.
There's a $95 annual fee but if you spend $1,000 in the first 3 months you'll get $150 cash back (for the first year only).

Also, you don't have to just pick one. This AMEX Blue Card is a no brainer for all of your grocery purchases. No card gives you 6%. We try and use this card exclusively for groceries and gas.

They have great deals for random places, which you have to add to the card via the website, and we try to monitor those for places we frequent and use them too (they have 20% cash back at Clyde's sometimes, for example).
We use the Amazon Store Card for Amazon credit only for those purchases. And we use the Target card for %5 only at Target.

Even better, it gives me the option to apply my rewards to my Amazon account so I can just use it on my next purchase. (They will also send you a check if you'd rather put that money in the bank.) I love going to buy printer ink or whatever, and getting it for free because of the rewards.
