Years ago I was living in another country away from my family. I had a vision, sort of like a video showing me a scene of someone dying in my family and an ambulance coming and taking them away. I was awake, this vision was during the day. Anyway, after that vision I just knew that someone in my family was going to die, but didn't know who or how and was so scared it would be my twin sister.

In the back of my mind I knew this was going to happened but always had the dread of anticipation of who it would be.

Then 1 month later I got a phone call from my parents and I knew then that someone had died. They told me It was my older brother Who had died and that he had died peacefully in his sleep from a brain heomorage. Again I recalled the vision but I didn't believe he had died peacefully. I really believed in my heart that he had killed himself and told a few people around me.

Another few months later my parents came to visit me and then they told me the truth. He had killed himself. They didn't tell me earlier because they didn't want to upset me. (Messes up I know, but that's another story)

Does a premonition dream "feel" different to regular dreams? Do you just KNOW that it was a message?

I think so. One night about a year ago, I woke up in the middle of the night. I sat straight up in bed from a deep sleep. I had a premonition, like a silent voice speaking to me: "One of your children is going to die." I was so shaken I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Two days later I miscarried at 8 weeks. I know miscarriages in the first trimester are common, even when everything seems to be going well as was the case with me. So I'm not sure how strong of a premonition come true it was. I was devestated, but also had the thought that I was glad it wasn't one of my already-born children.

Yes - I had to go to SuperBowl 2015 for work. I arrived at BWI and they told me the flight was full and I wouldn't be able to get out that night. Hint 1 that I needed to stay. I drove to Dulles to catch their last flight, taking me to Texas, and leaving me to figure out the rest from there. Hint 2 that I needed to stay. But I disregarded these 2 blatant messages and my gut telling me not to go, because it was work, and I had to go.

In Texas I fought tooth and nail to get onto a flight, and as we were leaving and I was turning my phone off, my mom was calling, but I couldn't answer. I knew something was wrong. When I landed and turned my phone off, there was a pic of my dad in the hospital. He had been in a car accident on GW Parkway, sandwiched between 2 huge SUV's, 3 slipped discs in his back, in excruciating pain, and only wanting to see his kids.

From that day on, I've listened to my gut. If it tells me not to leave, I don't. I felt awful that I couldn't be there, by my father's side, and it still eats away at me that it took me 24 hours to get back to him.

Yes. Pregnancy dreams of those close to me. Very early on.
I text or call and they have only known a day or two.
One time she didn't even know yet.
This has happened about 5 times.

Once I had a dream I should give my coworker money to play my numbers on her upcoming Vegas trip.
My numbers came up on roulette. She called and I told her go back to same table play same numbers again. She won! I told her to keep the money from that round

My sister had a dream our grandmother died in a plane crash and although it wasn't a plane crash, she did die that night while my sister was having the dream.

Years ago I had a nightmare about being in a burning building and trying to convince my best friend to leave with me. She kept telling me that it was ok the fire was not a problem. In the dream I told her I was leaving and she did not and she died.
A week later in real life my 34 year old friend died unexpectedly due to complications of having her wisdom teeth removed. I don't really believe it was a premonition but the dream has haunted me for these 15 years.

Is this a spin-off of angel/demon thread? In a gut sense, something bad will happen feeling yes. Not where I saw the exact nature of events, but I felt with certainty something was coming the day I boarded a flight to travel to a European city by myself. The feeling was more than an anxiety that would accompany travel during these uncertain times. This was back in early 2000s (after 9-11, but before the seemingly daily attacks by ISIS and many plane disappearances/hijackings resulting in total death). There was a bombing the next day that happened in the city I traveled to by an Al-Qaeda inspired terrorist group that killed many and injured thousands on public transit.

Yes, I have. I had a dream about a friend that came true. It was an unlikely scenario, but not a big thing.
