My thoughts exactly. If my teen asked for a pair of $1,000 jeans, I would feel like I had failed as a parent.

Amiri's jeans are WAY overpriced for what you get. IF, and only IF, you are going to give in and go for expensive jeans, buy your son the Balmain version of all these jeans. Once he outgrows them, he can at least resell them to recoup some of the money you spent on them. The aftermarket for Amiri's jeans just doesn't exist like that at the moment, nor do I think it ever will.

What does the name of the school your ds attends have to do with anything?

It's irrelevant how much disposable cash they have. The real question is why would they spend it on jeans for a teenage boy? Idiotic.
