We went to the entrance closest to homestead Florida. Not sure what it was called but it was the one with the Ahinga and Gumbo trails which were both easy for kids and had a lot of beautiful wildlife.

We like to go to the Everglades Animal Farm in the Florida City/Homestead area. Alligator shows (kids can hold baby alligators), snake shows (kids can hold snakes), airboat rides, and lots of other animals around.

Make sure to stop at Robert is Here on the way for a papaya key lime milkshake!

Shark Valley is the closest. The tram tour is great.

Go to one of the Indian villages/resorts like Miccosukee and watch the alligator show and take an airboat ride.

We will be staying in Miami and have dedicated a day to spend at the Everglades. Any recommendations on which entrance has the best things to do with a 7 year old and 10 year old? Any other recommendations on specific activities are greatly appreciated.
