Take the things we know to be true, 1) the arrest of an 11 year old rape victim that had medically documents sexual injuries and multiple semen present (what 11 year old is going to perfectly recall such a traumatic event?), 2) passing out drunk with his service weapon, and 3) the world bank arrests that caused the city milllions. How the fuck is this guy still in MPD at all??!!

I saw that Fox 5 report and was struck by how obviously biased it was (yes, even for Fox). The editing alone with the scare zooms and dramatic music made it seem like they had an agenda, and the treatment of this claim was the worst. His ex-wife made these claims as part of a custody proceeding, but the judge, after hearing those claims, awarded him full custody.
For a judge to award full (not partial) custody to the father, who is working full-time as a cop suggests to me at least that the judge did not find her or her claims to be credible. But the Fox report chose not to focus on that, and it seemed to show their bias a bit.
Seems like the story is being peddled by rivals (or a group) with an agenda.

Anonymous wrote:Thanks for posting OP. I'm not taking all of your bullets at face value and will research Newsham further myself but it is good to see this stark disparity in criticism. MPD has a lot of reforming to do, and have to deal with an uptick in repeat offender crimes. They certainly need someone with strong credentials who isn't compromised him/herself.
