If you're just going for the weekend, Ft. Lauderdale is a quick two hour trip. We like the Hilton beach resort there. It's a 15 minute ride from the airport. They have suites and a nice pool.

Just checked on Costco.com and you can do this trip for less than 5k that weekend.
