All the social life is through Greek system (and local rich kids that have hooks at Hollywood parties). It's hard to make new friends because so many people already know each other or only associate with 'verified' Greek members. If your kid is attractive with a high social IQ send them and get into a good Greek house. Or if they're a dorky film student. I don't think USC is a great college for normal middle class transplants.

Anonymous wrote:Great merit aid for HYPS level kids. Up-and-coming (likely to be the Stanford of SoCal in the not-too-distant future). Lots of $$ for facilities and faculty in the recent past, while the UCs faced budget cuts.
