I second the Lowell recommendation. I wasn't impressed with Rdu tennis (I heard from my child in his one week camp that he almost "drowned" two seperate days. The first I thought was an anomaly but two days later he told me that the lifeguard threw him the red float. So the lessons are terrible (we had been at Lowell and we belong to a pool club, he's improving on swimming and generally cautious but this was beyond alarming for me). I pulled him out of camp after that.

Dance Place in Brookland could be good. And it looks like Steve & Kate's camp is going to be at Van Ness elementary this summer (if Navy Yard isn't too far out of your way).

Not sure of your kid's age or interest, but Capitol Hill Day School, Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW), Polite Piggies, various things at the Hill Center, horseback riding camp in Rock Creek Park, BETA academy martial arts at 14th and Florida, Breathing Space yoga, national building museum, national conservatory in SW (http://www.nationalconservatoryofarts.org/ ...it's pretty new so I don't know much about it), lots of DPR camps in DC too though their quality can really vary.

RDU Tennis Camp at Trinity (with swimming) and Catholic
DC DPR camps at various locations

Also, my kid did Anthony Bowen aquatics camp one session and it was fine. Nothing magic, but nothing to complain about.

We were at the YMCA Anthony Bowen one summer. The regular camp was good. Do not do the swim camp though! We heard from a few friends whose kids had a bad experience with it.

I am looking for options EOTP in DC for Summer Camps. Anywhere from Silver Spring/Takoma to Capital Hill. Essentially, I drive Georgia Ave or North Capitol to get to work on the Hill. Wondering what options are available, cost, reviews, etc.

Thanks.
