The way we dealt with this was we allowed the kids (2 boys, close in age) to "potty talk" at home, with NO company. There was hell to pay (and they knew it) if they did it at school or out somewhere. It seems like when they realized they had a place to talk about butts and farts and whatever, the allure was gone to talk about it elsewhere. Yes, I got tired of hearing about farting and penises and whatever else (and sometimes I even sent them to their rooms with it), but it blew over.
We went through it once when my oldest was in the butt/poop/fart phase, and then a second time when the youngest was in that phase. Same rule both times.

She was saying how she likes to dance with her private parts showing but mom and dad want her to be dressed (this is true -- she *always* wants to be naked at home!).
So, I pulled her out of the room and asked her not to discuss private parts with her grandparents (my in-laws).
So, she goes back and says directly to my father in law "mommy doesn't want me to talk about private parts aloud. Like my vagina and your penis and poop and pee."
PLEASE KILL ME NOW.
This made me laugh, OP. Sorry. I couldn't help it!
