My 40 something BIL lives here in MIL's house with his 2 illegitimate children. The children's mother drops in and out of their lives. She is here now but has no car (we suspect it was relied) so people have to keep driving her places. When she shows up, she sleeps here so it has caused drama for us all.
BIL smokes (he does it outside) but smells like a chimney which is oh so much fun when I am dealing with a cold. Oh, and he has apparently ruined his insides with it and makes these awful grunting noises constantly.
Ugh, wish he had kept his dick in his pants. The kids are sweet and all, but the entire situation is just drama for everyone. Grandma is basically caring for kids in her retirement.

Everyone is freezing but MIL won't turn the heat up. Put on a fleece.

At my parents house. My mother left about an hour ago to who knows where. Just put her coat in, grabbed her purse, and walked out. Nothing bad led to this - my dad is laying in the sun room reading his book, one sister is working on a presentation she has to give on Wednesday, other sister and her bf left this morning to see his family (after presents and a big breakfast), and mom loved all her gifts - in fact, she was taking pics nonstop and sending them to her friends. None of us are quite sure what's going on and she's not answering her cell phone so we are a bit confused. Hopefully she comes back soon?

MIL's house sounds gross. I'd get folks to chip in for an emergency plumber and at least solve the drain issue. Is she on a limited income?
Put a wire hanger down there. Warning: it will be gross, but worth it. There is probably twenty years of crap down that drain. Nasty.
