but doesn't it kind of remind you of yourself at that age? I've noticed this in my 10 y/o dd, but it only makes me a little sad/nostalgic that she's growing up and away from me. But it's also pretty cool because it's what she's supposed to be doing right now. And I am inspired to feel a little compassion for what she's going through. That was the beginning of a rough age.

I'm also noticing this with my own 9 1/2 year old daughter. Major moodiness and attitude. Ugh!

We are starting to notice "teen" attitude in our 9 1/2 year old daughter and don't quite know how to respond. Does anyone have book recommendations on parenting this age set?
