I had baseline monitoring anywhere from day 2-4 while doing IUIs, to accomodate travel schedules. I was told that, if it was absolutely necessary, we could have done monitoring on day 5. Results would have been back early enough to have started the meds (Clomid) that evening.

I can't speak for Shady Grove and I'm not sure what your window is, but CFA did mine twice on day 1 when I was going to be out of town on Day 3. I was supposed to be coming in anyway for a beta but AF beat me to it.

If you'll be out of town during your Day 3, will Shady Grove give you a script to get monitored/bloodwork done wherever you are? Dah holiday travel.
