Same situation and turned out DH was having an affair.

When I go up to bed earlier than my dh, I'll turn off some lights, but if I turn them all off he will be in the dark! Why don't you ask "honey, do you mind checking if the door is locked and turn off the kitchen light before you head up? I'll do the rest."

Why do you have to have sex at night? What about in the morning?

My DH and I have been on different sleep schedules for most of our almost 20 year marriage. He's a night owl, and gets a ton of work done after 9. I'm a morning person who works best before noon. Right now, he is working with a West Coast based company, so, noon to midnight (or later), with time blocked out (6-8:30) for dinner and evening with the family. I get up at 6 and make sure the kids catch 7:00 buses before starting to work (we both telework).

Yes, I would prefer if we went to be at the same time every night, and fell asleep snuggling. But that doesn't mean no sex. At least on weekends he goes to be with me,and I try to stay up later and he tried to sleep earlier sometimes during the week.

So talk to your DH in a non-confrontational way (I hate the we have gotten off schedule going to bed). And you may be being to sensitive. People can remark at night that they are tired and still find the energy for sex. So try to go to bed on his schedule a few times a week. Cuddle and go to sleep. Or take it from there.

Have you gained weight? Do you run around the house in sweatpants? Cut your hair off? Are you doing anything to get him in the mood?

Minor vent but this happens every night. DH goes to bed first. When I'm ready for bed, I see has left all the lights in the house on. I walk through the house turning them off. Yet another night without sex. It's been this way for years.
