Is the CB a money-making business trying to sell colleges and kids on more and more unnecessary tests? Absolutely! (My kid took the SAT, 5 APs AND several SSATs. It's madness.)

Do I think the test is written in a way that kids from an upper middle class background do better than others? Yes, there have been studies that prove this. I hear the CB has tried to address this but I doubt they've made much of a dent in the problem.

Do I think they're nefarious, rigging test scores to favor some kids over others, or that they're just incompetent at scoring test results? Nah, not more than any other testing company.
