Publicist PP here - please don't listen to the DCUM crowd trying to make FRYE boots happen. It's not going to happen.

Also, no Mulberry.

Anonymous wrote:$100-$800. So you know, she is not brand obsessed, so that is not the "thing" I'm looking for (in fact, she prefers any sort of brand to be subtle and not the whole point of whatever she wears. Publicist PP here whose made a few suggestions in other threads. I'll throw these shoes in here again because they really are so huge right now. They are fur slippers by Confetti and all everyone who is anyone is rocking them so they can be a part of her gift: https://theconfettiboutique.info/

If she's a jeans girl, the hot brand right is Grlfrnd and you can order a pair from Revolve: http://www.revolve.com/grlfrnd/br/682a10/ (If you sign up, you get 10% off) Grlfrnd also makes some adorable denim jackets in case she doesn't need or want a pair of jeans.

If she prefers a sporty, comfortable look while still being fashion forward, then you can't go wrong with Here/Now Pom Pom kicks in Heather: https://herenowshop.com/shop/heather/

Pop & Suki bags are also on every fashionista's wish-list right now: http://popandsuki.com/ The "Camera Bag" in Cotton Candy is what I'd suggest, then you can have it personalized with her name (and yes, the personalization is EVERYTHING) http://popandsuki.com/products/the-camera-bag?variant=29134511110

French Girl Lumière Body Oil would make an excellent stocking stuffer: https://www.etsy.com/listing/455011118/lumiere-body-oil-bronzing-4-oz?ref=shop_home_active_6

As would a La Luce eye mask: http://www.laluceco.com/product-page/85725a80-84e5-8cae-747c-7c9a007d2fdc

Another great bag option is from the collab between Marianna Hewitt and Dagne Dover. It's sleek and thin and just perfect: https://www.dagnedover.com/collections/marianna-hewitt-the-elle-clutch I have the dusk suede and everyone stops me to ask about it.

If you're thinking clothing, check out the sweaters Intermix has right now: https://www.intermixonline.com/category/clothing/sweaters.do From this collection, I'd go with either the Derek Lam 10 Crosby 2 in 1 Gold Button Sweatshirt: https://www.intermixonline.com/product/derek+lam+10+crosby+2+in+1+gold+button+sweatshirt.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=fn& OR the Christopher Fischer Ruched Sweater: https://www.intermixonline.com/product/christopher+fischer+ruched+sweater.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=fn&

Another insanely hot line right now is Designers Remix out of Europe. I was gifted a few of their sweaters and they are just incredible but the dresses are wonderful, too: https://www.designersremix.com/eu/ready-to-wear/dress.html

I don't want to overwhelm you, but these fit what she's looking for - unique, with a little flair - and she'll be wowed that you knew about them!

Do you need to give her the actual item? How about a Visa card and note that says "I'll take you shopping next weekend".

Mine wants a Mulberry purse.

Agree with the suggestion of Frye boots.

I'm enjoying the leather/faux leather moto jackets with floral embroidery that I've been seeing around latey. Zara has one (with studs, which I don't like).

NOBODY fashion forward wants anything to do with Marc Jacobs. OP, please give me a budget and I'll give you links to options within your budget.

A nice Marc Jacobs (or even Marc by Marc Jacobs) crossbody will get her through high school and well into college with care.

The Marc by Marc line is cheaper and more practical but this is the general shape.

Sorry - last post was answering 23:25 - she does not have fashion boards

Both - she styles simple pieces with an edge - def not preppy but classic, sometimes boho - she is up on all the trends.

Does she have a Pinterest account that might have a Fashion board? or Polyvore?

Frye boots? Alexander Mcqueen scrull clutch? Is she into classic pieces or edgy pieces?

I know it is last minute but I'm trying to think of a special Christmas gift for my stylish, fashion forward 17 year old. I would rather get her one or two quality memorable things (sweater, scarf, boots, bag, cool jeans, wool/pea coat) than more of the same I'm just trying to find some focus (and I am proof that the fashion gene skips a generation). Ideas appreciated. Thanks!
