do everyone a favor and use a red cap on both end to board. Tip them a few $ based upon the size of your party and luggage. In DC they often board you over half hour before the train departs so get there early.

Trying to take some out of town guests to New York city in the next two weeks. They want to take a train trip. I am at the AMTRACK website, and many trains have a warning that the tracks will be getting repaired and springfield shuttle will be provided.

I am not being able to determine if this is something that will impact our trip or is the shuttle being arranged for the journey further up?

Any idea?
