Oh, taken, sorry, forgot to mention that.

But in all seriousness, if you are online dating, make sure to mention how attractive you find a woman who can cook is in your profile. To me, it's one of my personal, creative qualities, and I love that my DH loves it about me. Ignore these harpies who are implying your liking it is akin to your wanting a maid.

There is a difference between liking that your partner appreciates your cooking and not liking men that look down on and trash talk women that can't/don't cook. DH loves my cooking and I appreciate that but if he was the type of guy that treated me like cooking for him was my job, he wouldn't be my DH.

I understand you OP. Having had 4 worthless daughters in law, good luck finding what you're looking for.

If I listed everything their women couldn't/wouldn't do we'd be here all day. You're going to have to do for yourself. I have never in my life seen such highly educated women be so damn dumb and lazy. They are only good for a paycheck.

I'm with her - I love to cook and like that my husband appreciates it!

I can overlook that minor detail.

Go to a cooking class - baking ones might have the most women. Talk to your female friends to figure out what time is most likely for a group of (single, younger) women to go (as opposed to couples). Strike up conversations with women who've self-selected as having a cooking interest. Repeat if necessary.

Have you tried Blue Apron? Seriously a lot less hassle than choosing a romantic partner based on whether she can cook.

I'm a great cook and I always avoided men that expect me to be their cook like the plague. Gross.

I am a killer cook - but if you eat at my table, you eat what I feel like making and you tell me it's amazing without fail. And you also do the dishes.

Many of us make sure we don't know how to cook so that men like you will avoid us.
