+1 We got a single business license. The inspection is only the first time. The license is valid for 2 years and you can renew online thereafter.

what kind of license did you get? Can you get a two family license online?

And yet OP gets nothing but crickets. DCUM is a great pace for "experiences", but not for good information. The process is very clear on the website.

Anyone have experience with a rental license in DC? I understand it is a basic safety inspection but anyone actually been through the process and know what it entails and how long it takes? May have to move and rent my DC rowhouse.
