Measured at 30th percentile at 35 weeks, born 8 lb 3oz at 40 weeks 5 days.

My baby was in the 30th percentile, born at 6lbs, then lost one whole lb before we went home . She was in premier clothes for 1 mo.. then nb for 2 months then 0-3 forever.

OP here, and 9 lbs 10 oz is exactly how much my first baby weighed, at 11 days late. The estimates were right on with him, so I guess I trust the estimates more than most people.
I am prepared to be fooled, though... thanks for sharing your story.

My first was 9 lbs. 10 oz. (10 days late) and when I was pregnant with #2 they kept telling me, "oh this guy is much smaller" and "you definitely won't have another 9+ lb baby"... Fast forward to when he was born (2 days late) and he was 9 lbs 3 oz. Liars!! But I did squeeze him into 2 newborn outfits his older brother never wore...

I can tell you I had an ultrasound at 29 weeks putting baby in the 75th percentile. He came just shy of 42 weeks weighing 7 lbs...

Don't forget that late term ultrasounds are very inaccurate in terms of measuring a baby's size. So it could be off by as much as a pound in either direction. https://www.verywell.com/can-they-tell-how-big-the-baby-is-by-ultrasound-2758737

7 lbs 11 oz. Measured small the entire pregnancy and around 5 weeks behind at the end. Was born one week late and a completely normal size.

DS wasn't measuring small but was born early at 6lb 2oz. He was in NB sizes for about a month, by which time he was about 8lbs. I'd skip the NB sizes - go straight to the 0-3m and then roll up the sleeves if they are too long.

Cute! I almost won't know what to do with a normal sized baby, my first was/is such a beast to lug around!

I haven't actually given birth to mine yet, but am also measuring at 35-40th percentile and at the ultrasound my doctor said the estimated birth weight was 6 pounds 13 ounces at 38 weeks, going up to slightly over 7 if born later. (I remember this just because 6 pounds 13 ounces seemed oddly specific. )

I'm due with #2 soon and recently had the 36-week ultrasound, which put him at the 36th percentile (5lbs, 11oz). I'm guessing that would put him around 7 pounds if he's born between weeks 39-40?
My first weighed almost 10 pounds at birth, so I'm trying to get a handle on the size of this one (or his estimated size, anyway) and figure out if I need to buy newborn clothes. Needless to say, my 10-pounder never wore newborn sizes.
