Will you feel offended if a parent gifts you a modest amount (say $15 -%20) in a gift envelope?

I don't know if offended is the right word. I might think you confused me for the babysitter.

No lotions for me. You are right about dry skin but I've got highly sensitive skin and use a prescription lotion so I don't use lotion gifts.

I love food, but please save me from myself! It's so hard to not taste (and then devour) the food when your sweet eyed child is waiting for me to tell them how wonderful it is.
High quality lotions are wonderful for the exact reason you stated.
I have more coffee mugs then I know what to do with and I haven't paid for Starbucks in years!
All of these gifts are very much appreciated though.

So other than cash or an Amex gift card, what do you want? I always do an Amex card, but like to include a little gift. Often chocolates from a nice store. But if everyone throws it out, I would rather do something that you want. Please advise.

What about restaurant gift cards? I was thinking of giving a gift card to a nice restaurant (a sushi place maybe?).

I also am allergic to most scented things - so please no candles, soaps, or lotion.

It's a nice idea but I probably won't use it and definitely won't if it is scented. I have a lot of a specific type for sensitive skin I keep in my desk. I'll add glasses and coffee mugs to the list of items I donate.

Most high school teachers eat the food since we rarely receive any. If we don't personally it ends up in the teachers lounge and someone eats it. I've never seen a teacher throw homemade food away.

Please no soaps candles, plants. I'm allergic to most things.

Please no food . I'm allergic to many foods or there s too much and becomes a burden to find use so as not to waste.

What is a waste to buy?
Please don't say "anything you get is perfect." it's a nice sentiment, but want to get something my child's teacher will actually use and like.
