The Viceroy in the Riviera Maya

It's amazing. It's not all-inclusive but you can buy an all inclusive package.

There are something like 42 bungalows, all with private plunge pools. You want one further away from the beach/pool because they are much more private.

Awesome spa and awesome food. Lots of options for day trips, too.

Service was top-notch.

+1. Viceroy is also nice

ai resorts are typically low end and not that great.

Riu is pretty low budget. Try going to Mexico instead.

What is your reason for wanting an AI? What features are you looking for?

We went to an all-inclusive in Jamaica for our Honeymoon 6 years ago, if I got a chance to do it again, I would choose something different. Go to Greece, definitely Santorini, or Mykonos. Or Positano, Italy.

If you are set on going to Caribbean, I recommend you stay away from AIs. You are really paying that much for the ability to have unlimited food and drinks, and the quality of service isn't usually great ( Except Mexico, fantastic service in general)

Have fun planning and congrats on upcoming wedding

Looking at Secrets or Riu resorts (or other recommended resorts that are adult only, all inclusive) for a beach honeymoon in May 2017. Please share any and all ideas. Thank you!
