We've been to Aruba with a gluten allergy - stayed at the Marriott which has a good kitchen. I would plan to eat in most nights. The grocery stores have gluten free pasta. There is a Ruth's Chris and Yemanje Grill and I wouldn't trust too many other places for dinner. But it was a fun trip.

OP, I wouldn't do costca rica with a 4 yr old. Too intense.

Are you choosing based on destinationsome Southwest flues to? If so, consider Costa Rica, tons to do and variety of healthy eating options, vegan meals are not hard to find.

Another vote for Aruba, beautiful island.

I have decided not to go back to Jamaica after having gone a few times, the people are super pushy and rude, and always looking for a tip, even when not earned.

Not much to do in Aruba - OK if you want a beach vacation,

I would do Aruba. Great grocery store with lots of options for allergies or restrictions.

Punta Cana, Montego Bay and Aruba for a family of 3 with an almost 4 yr old and requiring airbnb type of accommodation due to dietary restrictions. One vegan and One gluten free.
