Tire rack. http://www.tirerack.com/content/tirerack/desktop/en/homepage.html

Competitive prices, excellent selection and they will ship them to either your home OR the tire installer of your choice.

I looked at Costco, Sears, NTB etc., before deciding on Tire Rack. I have a Mercedes SUV and the tires appropriate for my vehicle are not always available at these various places, and if they do have the size the quality sucks!

I promise you that you will not regret buying through Tire Rack.

One Stop New & Used Tires on Glebe if you're near Arlington. The guy recommended a better (and cheaper!) tire than we were intending to purchase. Oh, and my rims have never been cleaner than when he returned the car to us.

I think just about any place can do a good job putting on tires. For me it's about the price and/or warranty as well as cost of installation. BJs is pretty because they only charge $15/tire and that includes warranty and installation.

I went to Weber tire a few months ago. They were great and was able to get much better tires than what Costco offers for not a ton more money. I drive a ton and think tires make a huge difference.

Either Costco or Tire Rack. Price them both out.

Do you have a trustworthy local mechanic? Otherwise, Costco is great for standard all-season tires from Michelin or Bridgestone. There is almost always a $70 discount for four tires that flip-flops between the two brands.

tip from my DH - if you're replacing all four tires, check the spare (if it's full sized and not a doughnut) and if needed, replace the spare with the best of the 4 old tires.

Costco, but we've also gotten amazing service at Rice Tire. We went because there's one within walking distance of our house and it was a pseudo-emergency, but the service was incredible and the price was comparable to Costco.
