One -- my husband. Met him at 27. I only had one serious relationship in college, and we didn't sleep together; and then after that I disliked casual dating and had no interest in casual sex, so I waited until I met the right guy. Same story for him. Works for us.

1. Met at 19. Married at 26. Now 46.

No regrets.

Ashamed to say, about 50. I was a big slut in college. Married my DH at age 26.

I say 4, but it's technically 5 if you count the guy that date raped me. Met DH at 21.

Four. First partner at age 27, last at age 29.

I'm probably about the same 25-30. Married at 29. But I was also married from 20-25 years old, so I made up for lost time in my mid twenties.

Four. I was a late bloomer. Met DH when I was 25.

Around 20. Also met husband at 25 (yes he was my last - I'm 38 now). Suspect my # higher than most.

OP, I think there's a wide range, so I don't think there is any insight to be gained by comparing numbers.

Mine is somewhere around 7 or 8. Met my husband at 32.

Just curious to find out what's "typical" for most women. Also, it would be helpful if you would give the age you were when you met your current partner, who presumably was your last.
For me, I've slept with between 25-30 men (don't remember exactly how many) and I met my husband at 25. I realize that this is a very high #, and I'm not boasting, in fact I've never shared this with anyone in real life, so please don't attack.
