So glad it's over. Now I never have to deal with his psychotic wife stalking and catfish ingredients me. I think of him sometimes when I'm watching football but there's less stress in my life.

Guess it would depend on whether you were caught or not.

If I caught my spouse cheating and IF I forgave, it would be devastating to know that the AP was missed.

But that's the cost of cheating. Pine for the one who doesn't want to be with you.

Yes, I miss him, the way it used to be with him. I wish I had appreciated it more before things got very complicated.

Miss how I felt in the very beginning when it was new. Miss feeling wanted.

Ugh, no. It makes me sick to think about the things I did in the A that I thought were acceptable. The mental gymnastics I had were epic. And my AP? He was either as messed up as me, or using me for an ego boost. The question should be, do you miss the way their AP made you feel? That's probably more relevant and can be addressed in therapy.

Because this is not the person you are arguing about concerning money, kids, in-laws, etc. The AP is always so intelligent, funny, witty, great listener, etc.

I think about her every day. In fact, her birthday is around this time - tomorrow, actually, I'm pretty sure.

She comes here, I think. Or used to. So, if you're reading this: Happy birthday, flirty girl. I miss you, and would love to hear from you again. I deleted my throwaway mail when I realized you'd done the same. But there are other ways to contact me. Just press send. Hope you're well ...

This is just pathetic.

No, it's romantic. Just don't get together again, you hear PP?

Nope, but I stayed in the relationship for years after it had run its course, and I saw his true colors. I do not wish him harm, but I regret the whole relationship.

Yes, because he was just as depressed and sensitive, so not the right long-term partner.
