Sorry, just saw you're doing timed intercourse not IUI. But no sweat. Just have intercourse 24 hours after, and then the next two days as well if you can.

Hm that's so strange. I was always told to do the trigger at night, like 10 or 11. Maybe that's because I had procedures in the am and you are going to DTD tonight? Might as well throw in a morning session for good measure.

If you were being monitored, I doubt you ovulated. But if you weren't taking anything to suppress ovulation, like Ganirelix, it's always possible.

Maybe just have sex a little earlier than you had planned?

I just started seeing a new RE and am trying Femara with a trigger shot this month, plus timed intercourse. This is my first time doing a trigger shot and I am worried I messed it up. I was at the RE for monitoring on Wednesday AM to check the size of my follicles, and they weren't large enough so they told me to come back today for another check. So, I went today and the doctor who did my ultrasound said it was the perfect size and asked me to give her the trigger so she could do it. Well, I didn't know I was supposed to bring it, so I didn't have it. She said I could just do it at home, so I said I would tonight... and she said, I should go home now to do it, but I couldn't because I had to get to work for a meeting. So, instead I did it at 6pm today as soon as I got home.

Since she told me most people ovulate between 24 to 36 hours after the trigger, it's unlikely I ovulated before I gave myself the shot, right? Do you need to do this shot within a certain window for it to be most successful? I do feel like I've had a little cramping since I did the shot a couple hours ago, but maybe that's in my head.

Ugh, really hoping I didn't throw $100 down the drain.
