This assumption is completely wrong. It's kindergarten, not 12th grade. Teachers are just trying to assess levels of incoming kids (some of which have never attended school before) to see where they need assistance. Stop freaking out.

Anonymous wrote:My interpretation is a 2 is not quite on grade level, a 3 is on grade level and a 4 is advanced. A 1 is behind grade level. If they haven't introduced the material there should be no grade at all.
