A new principal started there last fall, and she's very down to earth, positive, and seems very supportive of all students. The AP is one of those people with very high expectations for students, but who exudes concern and care for all. The guidance counselor has been there for years and is absolutely fantastic. We have had some ups and downs with a few of the "specials" teachers, but they seem to have a great group at the moment, and we've loved the teachers our child has had in her core classroom every single year. The school is EXTREMELY diverse - you couldn't have a bigger melting pot of students.
At the moment, my biggest peeve about the place is that they do not allow birthday celebrations at all and they celebrate that fall festival thing instead of having a Halloween Parade. There are not a whole lot of celebratory type events like that at Page, but the learning environment is supportive and my child has been happy there.
Is it as diverse as New Haven CT?
