+1 Same here. If parents did not RSVP within a reasonable time after the deadline, I removed them.

wow, seriously?

PP here. I was really stressed out about this last year and it miraculously turned out ok. I ended up having exactly 24 kids. I wanted to change the settings to NOT send out a reminder and I couldn't even after I reached out to evite support. I didn't want people who did not RSVP to be reminded to RSVP. I know it wasn't ideal but it was the best I could come up with.

Even if you were uninvited, the other person is in the wrong about how it was handled. It is completely reasonable for you to follow up. I really think this is a technical issue.

I wouldn't assume you were uninvited. I would assume that there was a technology fail and the mom might not know there's a problem (which could affect others too, if the issue is on the inviter's account's end).

I had my evite account open on my computer and found my 7 year old deleting some invites for people who "told him they can't come". It was just a click for him to delete it. Maybe that's what happened.

I would follow up. That seems weird unless they uninvited you if you didn't RSVP or something so that they could invite someone else. Also strange.

DS (1st grade) got an Evite (through me) a few weeks ago for a party next weekend. I realized today I didn't have the party on my calendar so I went to the email again to check the details, and when I click on the link in the email, I get an Evite error message that says "You are not on the guest list for this event." I thought we had already rsvp'ed, but I could be wrong. Pretty sure it was a home party, but I could also be wrong about that. Not a close friend of DS's, but not a distant one either. Do I follow up with the parents in case it was an error/accident, or assume we were uninvited? I don't think DS is aware of the party.
