Once I got into recovery (at age 40) I realized it had started at 14. Triggering event was almost losing my family because of yet another affair

Yes and yes. Marriage hanging on by a thread and my husband's family has basically disowned me

How long have you been in recovery? How many kids do you have now? Sounds like you are married. If accurate how do feel about a man (husband) staying with you through multiple cheating? Do you respect him? Is there any trust in your marriage?
