+1. People who think dolphins are so cute but who don't give a damn how they were captured and how they are treated are just amazing. Breathtaking.

+2. And it has nothing to do with eating animals. I eat meat too but I don't think any animal deserve that kind of treatment. And to take your kids? Disgusting.

You don't. "Swim" is used very optimistically. They would never exclude the huge amount of people who can't swim from being able to particapate. You basically stand on a ledge in a pool and the dolphins come to you. You wear life jackets.

Are you doing this as part of a Disney cruise excursion?

How strong of a swimmer do you need to be? DW can't swim that well but the kids are great swimmers. DW can float but I wouldn't call her a strong swimmer. Don't they usually wear life jackets? Kids want to do this, but I'll feel bad leaving my wife behind.

I wonder if it tastes more like salmon, or tuna...

If they served it with balsamic vinaigrette and a chianti, I'd eat a dolphin...*shrug*

Meh. I eat animals. I guess that's worse.

+ 1. We took our 5 and 7 yr old and they loved it. The concern is whether your children will be afraid of the dolphins or not. Otherwise, nothing to worry about.

They (and everyone else) should not swim with dolphins at all. Period.

Even i they do not, do you think they would be too young. I have never done it. What is this type of experience like? What should I be concerned about?
