Plus, it's the same company (Harland Clarke) whether I do it through the bank or through Costco.

Yeah if my bank doesn't offer free checks forever I'm not using them. I only use about 20 checks a year. As soon as I can get my cleaners to use venmo, PayPal, I'll never have to write a chech again!

The only thing that bothers me a little is that my bank's checks have a nice logo on them with the bank name, and my generic checks have the bank name in a generic font. However, they are much cheaper and my bank makes it a PITA to order checks if it has been more than a year since the last order. It probably takes me 2 years or more to go through a batch of checks.
