Why would anyone frankly - unless they are grasping at straws and that is all they have going for them. A half-brother raised by another mother on another continent.

What exactly are his qualifications again? What gives his words any merit?
Sure he is half brother - but not the sibling he was raised with and is likely pissed that Obama did not steal state money hand hand it out to his family members (as is customary to some extent in many african countries).
Also, coming from Kenya, I would have little trust in the media as well.
I thought Malik was the accountant - I worked in Kenya a bit and hired one of them for a bit and found him terrible.
