Oh PP, I wish I could give you a hug b/c we switched to the 1" needle and total game changer! My one hip was still extremely sore so one night I used the 1" needle in my thigh and that hurt but since using it in my butt, I haven't experienced any pain. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I'd totally forgotten about that trick until I started getting very sore from the PIO shots this time, and was wondering why I didn't remember having any significant trouble at all with them in my last pregnancy. As soon as I started warming up the oil first again, I noticed much less soreness. (Just occasionally when my husband's aim was less than true.) They definitely are less painful than Lovenox, at any rate!
