PP here that suggested Westin. I forgot about the Hilton at short pump. They have a spa and decent steak house on site.

The Hyatt flag hotel is a Hyatt House. Westin or Hilton are a little bit nicer than Hyatt House and are more full service hotels.

Then do the Westin, with a mid level corp chain hotel. You generally know what to expect and typically don't have any surprises. In my opinion is a lifesaver when you have kids.

Do you need to be downtown?

Westin by just south of short pump is typically a really good weekend value.

Any recommendations? Would prefer connecting rooms or a suite. We have two children (boy and girl) who are too old to share a bed but can share a room.
