I do a lot of midcentury stuff, but i don't love either of those. If someone sent them to me, i'd think they were nice enough. But not love.

I think both would look great in a mcm home!

I like the shape and even the contrast between wood and paint, but the speckled paint is yucky and makes the pieces look cheap to me. I would not say "hideous," though!
