I would be frustrated too. I might not care if my father had told my mother or not, but if her reaction to the news was to call me a liar instead of asking him if it was true I'd be pissed as well.

I feel terrible about this but this was a battle I was not going to lose.
So, basically, you dad never told your mom about this - and you felt the need to bring this up 15 years later because...?
