Dropped my DD off at Dominion HS for the test; I think every Indian 8th grader in Loudoun County was there.

A 1300 would put a 10th or 11th grader at or above the 95th percentile, for the 2015 PSAT. That seems to be a pretty high bar for an 8th grader, since 1/3 move on to the nest step in the AOS application process.

About 900 8th grader applied this year, most of they are straight A students. 1300 is very reasonable bar.

About 30-40% of them don't want to be there and/or are unprepared. Their parents make them go through this.

The class will not expand for this year.

For only 60 spaces still? Are they expanding incoming class size now that the new facility will be completed in 2018?

200 is what I heard. Is it true that incoming or transferring sophomores can't apply? It is limited to incoming 9th grade only?

What PSAT score would typically be needed to move on to the next level of the application process? I've heard around 200, but that's from one source. TIA.
