Have you ever seen Rosemary's Baby? That follows the book almost to a T

I don't know why Girl on a Train and Gone Girl are constantly compared. They are nothing alike other than having 'girl' in the title.

Girl on a Train was a stupid, terrible, trite book.

I loved the both books - Gone Girl and Girl on a Train, but I really disliked the Gone Girl movie. Thought it was totally flat. Is the GOAT movie better?

Me too. I bought the book because the movie trailer looked so interesting, and I love mysteries. By the end, I would have been perfectly happy if every single character ended up dead. What a boring, annoying group of people.

I don't have high standards, either. I know a lot of people disliked Gone Girl, but I enjoyed the heck out of that book.

The author should have stipulated England! But maybe she does not have as much clout as JK Rowling? I guess I read that she controls all the actors (all English) and probably lots of other stuff... but I don't care enough to look it up....so maybe it's on the author as well when selling her story.

I hated the book as well - is the movie 1000x better (as in worth seeing)?

I read the book, but feel like it will be better as a movie. What do you all think?

I liked the book but this switch bothers me too. England was so perfect and Emily Blunt is English after all! Her G&T on the train...
