I can tell you at every place I have worked, this type of error would be treated as an annoyance but not something fire-able. You'll just have to do it all over again once you get your permissions straightened out - fun fun!
Whoa calm down. No need to rush to quit. I couldn't really understand your story but just wait and see what happens.Anonymous wrote:I was uploading documents today. My Supervisor is out of town for the week. I Wasn't aware that I didn't have the rights to upload those Documents into the website. For example, I work uploading Projects and bids on the intranet. I have an APP that links every project number to that project. I thought if I didn't have project number on the Apps I could upload on the website manual. The Assistant Supervisor didn't know that I needed right to upload the documents. My supervisor called and said that those documents I uploaded would not go anywhere because I need the rights to upload and I should ask the IT help desk to give me the rights to upload the documents. I spend 8 hours uploading and linking the documents to each project. I am on TEMP TO hire agency.
Will this mistake cost me the job? Should I quit before they fire me?
